Danny had to disable the search function (of which the New Posts is part of) b/c of site instability. Working on a solution.

I've re-enabled search for logged-in users. If the server spikes again I'll have to disable it and work on something else.

Assuming this helps, can we have it so that non-logged in users have other features disabled or are throttled back?

I'm sure Danny has the stats, but perhaps we can limit the # of guests as well? I think I've seen sometimes 1000+ guests online in the day and only a couple hundred logged in users... I don't think it's so fair that a large # of guests slows things down for registered users.

What about users logged in on multiple devices at the same time, and how come you can do that? Will that slow things down?
