OEM Tweeter Pod

    OEM Tweeter Grills (Rear Door)

    Hi everyone,

    Anyone know if these circular tweeter grills found on some Prius rear doors can be purchased from Toyota? I can only find them as part of the rear door pane on many parts websites. I suspect these grills might fit the front door panels too.

    I'm planning a stereo upgrade to my new Prius II and have most of everything worked out except the tweeter. Right now I have plans to mount them in the squawker location but prefer a better location. Thinking of mounting them front doors but can't think of a way to do it without hacking up the door panels. I think a set of these grills would be perfect for the front doors.

    If you have enough money, you can buy anything you desire! When I needed parts for a mod, I just went over to the local Dealers Parts Dept, told him what I needed, he looked it up, told me how much, and wow he had them in stock. If he had to order them he stated, 7 to 10 days!.
    Call your dealer up, you might get your answer over the phone, then run on down and pay up!

    As far as I can tell those grills are only available as part of the door panel. Certainly if money isn't an issue, I could just buy 2 door panels at $800 and extract those grills!

    I'll be dropping by my dealer this weekend to pick up the radio bezel so will ask him about the tweeter grills. Perhaps he can surprise me by ordering the grills without the door panel. I'll post if I find out more.
