Hey all i just got my 2011 Prius ii Base model on Friday night and im Looking to install an amp and subs in it. I have searched all weekend for an instructions on how to do this. know where im going to install the amp, and how to connect it to the 12V battery in the trunk. the only thing im missing is where people connected in to the rear speakers to get audio to the amp. So my question is,

Where is the easiest place to splice in to the rear speaker wires?
also what colors are the speaker wires.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all

I seem to remember someone commenting (in a past thread) that it was possible to find the wires you're looking for in the pillar that runs vertical between the front & rear door on either side. There is a trim piece that has to come off to access it and you have to be careful because there are side curtain airbags nested in there, but I believe that the wires that go into the rear doors have to come up through there. Not sure on the wire colors, but that ought to be easy enough to figure out.

Makes sense... would have to run through the door from there.
