    That's fine with me, Dianne. The bumper/grille area is the most sensitive - and time consuming area - so it's not surprising Port isn't up to doing that part. We can either get it done at your place or I have a good place here in San Diego. They did a great job on my Prius II. We can talk about it after this initial rush has settled down. It sounds crazy for you right now.

    Plus, 2875 isn't even on the assembly line yet. The Toyota page says Apr-May.

    Hi All,
    First congrats to those who received their PIPs! I saw the great pics.
    It appears Dianne has done an awesome job keeping everyone posted real-time on delivery progress.

    I live in the Bay Area and my PIP got on a boat March 2nd...WooHoo!
    Any good reference data on how long it takes to arrive at US port(which i believe is Benecia)?

    Approximately 14 days. Then another 5 to 7 days for the port to process it and deliver it to the dealership.

    ok, i am very impressed.
    i was happy my PIP got on a "boat" on 3/2.
    you have all found the exact vessel your PIPs are on & where the vessel is located at sea!

    can you help me understand how you got the vessel's name?
    i want to see if i can find a more precise dock date.
    the info i am getting from toyota & my dealer is not very detailed.
    thanks all.
