What aftermarket accessories for your Prius C?

    I'm looking for some for mine and would like some ideas. Right now I'm planning on tinting all around (it's illegal to tint the two front windows in CA, but many cops don't care), and I'm also planning for a roof rack. I haven't found much accessories available for the C yet.

    a roof rack is something i would be interested in as well since the trunk space is a little smaller.

    I just did my Tint at Tint Masters and they do top work! Looks so good with 35 front 15 back

    I can't find any. Yakima and Thule don't make em for our car yet, and now i'm looking possibly setting up a custom hitch with a hitch cargo box. That way its probably cheaper and doesn't mess with our mpg too much:D
    I was thinking about Limo in the back, is that too dark? and how much did tint masters charge you?
    Its funny that you mentioned that. On my Habanero, dirt shows up like a b!tch:mad:

    I have a deposit on a White C (Canadian base model, U.S. II) and would like to get the dealer to put in after-market seat heaters for $650 but I'm wondering if the new air bags they have in the seat bottoms would affect this.

    I'd also like an accessory hitch with a bike rack but the manual says the C is not able to hold the cargo weight is such a way.

    "Many Cops Don't Care"....

    You do realize it's the few that do care, that will pull you over and ticket you?

    Go ahead if you want to....but please don't return to complain when you do get fined.

    You might not...and Kudos if you don't. I just have frequented not only this automotive website but others, where people knowingly tint against the local codes, THEN do complain when ticketed or fined.

    If you are aware of the risk, and willing to take it and deal with the potential consequence? Then I would support your decision to tint.

    I was just pointing out that "Many Cops Don't Care"...will not mean anything when you get pulled over by the 1 cop that has decided at the moment to care.....

    I understand. There are those that complain about something they know they shouldn't be doing. As for me, I have no problem taking the tint down and paying any fees. I've never been the type to complain or try to weasel out of a speeding ticket, so tinting my windows is worth the risk of a fixit ticket. But hey, thats just me.

    We have to get over to Japan to get some great accessories for the c.

    This is an example of what I built on their configure site using Toyota and TRD options... (and I want mine to look like these!!!!!!) If we can get everyone on PriusChat to get Toyota to make these accessories available here... or maybe Danny can get them into the PriusChat Shop!!!

    Those wheels are TRD 16s.

    There are way more options on the Japanese site for the Prius c. Would be great to have access to this stuff here in the states.

    Yes, we need to get Danny or Toyota or someone to make these accessories available to us!

    ebay has many of the JDM accessories. search prius C on ebay.


    foglight, window tint, upgrade all the bulb to LED bulb, brighter philips or osram headlight bulb, wheel, carbon wrap on hood and roof. lol

    I need to get the rubber rear bumper shield to protect the paint! Just tinted the rear windows, new lighter wheel covers that mimick black spokes and chrome rims.
    Point of interest: those folks with moonroofs don't get the classic Prius crease roof top for superior aerodynamics! Just put a thick welcome mat under the cargo mat -- now I have a level cargo bay when the back seats are folded! yay!
