So I've had my Prius for 6 days, and as I'm going home from getting the windows tinted some lady in a Chevy Malibu pulls out in front of me and of course I hit her...basically my right front bumper hits her front quarter panel and tire. So the bumper is ruined, I have to take it in tomorrow to get the estimate...

The only bright side is that I'm moving to a state next month that requires no front bumper plate so I won't have them drill it when it gets replaced. That is the only thought that keeps me from becoming completely unglued about having a brand new car in a wreck...(should I go fog lights? I have a II)

I'm pretty impressed about the damage-her airbag went off, my bumper just crumpled a bit, and nothing else hurt except my feelings.

Way to see the bright side of the deal. That can be frustrating. Hang in there. I bounce back and forth on the fog lights... I like the look, I don't need the fuction.. and I don't want to touch the factory wiring... BUT many do it and it looks sharp! I took the plate off and I still have two holes in the bumper... I am thinking of how I can cleanly plug them...
