    Hello all,

My battery died on my 2010 Prius this morning. I had the 12v battery jump started just to get to work. Sadly, the overhead dash computer with the trip, Fuel economy, and hybrid information does not work anymore. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The vehicle now has 43k miles therefore the main warranty has expired. Is there any chance this component is covered under the hybrid warranty? Is there something that needs to be reset in order to "reactivate" this computer.

    Thanks,

Are you still on the old battery? Maybe it needs a decent recharge session, or replacement if too far gone. A near dead battery could be behind the computer problem.
