Anyone else is running K&N filter in GenIII?

    No, I would just not get the K&N or read the directions carefully and not over oil. There are sensor cleaners if you do clog the MAF sensor.

    I agree any change incurs risk, I'm a big believer in the Amsoil product which I've had in a high boost (23 lbs), daily driven and tracked subaru for about 100k. Not oil based and far more advanced than the standard cheap paper filters (higher flow AND traps smaller particles).

    This is why I would get the injen because I believe they use it as a cone style filter for some of their models. If not you can get a replacement amsoil cone.

    Time for you to get Prius man! Love the Subaru but man that thing sucks on gas especially during rally time.
