On a whim, I decided to purchase a set of the highly coveted Plus Pkg Springs.

I will be installing them early next week on my 2011. I will also be keeping the stock 15" wheels!

Stay tuned for pictures. I may be the first person to install new springs without getting new wheels. My main goal of this upgrade is to improve handling and improve stability in crosswinds.

I installed my Tein H-techs and had to drive it for a week on the stock 15's...I was SO happy to finally bolt up my wheels lol. Although, the car did look lower on stockers.

You aren't the first to install lowering springs & keep 15" wheels - I'm the first! ;-)

I haven't bought my wheels & tires yet so I'm still rockin' the 15" OEM wheels. I had my Corolla 16" winter set on it for a while & then put the stock set back on after I thought we were done with the snow......of course we weren't, as the pictures show. :D

Ok so I need everyones help. When TheCritic posts pictures with the springs on you need to post disparaging remarks about how fugly it looks. Tell him how much better a set of coilovers would look and handle. Then to top it off tell him that the springs will cause his struts to wear out faster! *evil grin*

I can tell it is fugly as hell. If you upgrade suspension components they have to be red . If they are white and get dirty they fugly as hell

Here is the part number, PTR07-47100, Plus Lowering Springs you can do an internet search for that p/n and should get some results or you can always check with your dealers parts department.

Plastichead, I purchased the springs from my local Toyota dealer.
