No way man. I'm enjoying my cush ride right now. I don't even want to put 17s back on because it will ruin the ride and the gas mileage. I could use a nice rear sway bar, however...... :D

Some chassis braces might come in handy too  All my past summer cars reminded me every time there was a crack or bump in the road. I don't know what a cushy ride is anymore.

IDK though, are you sure the 17's would hurt the MPG with the body kit? It is advertised as making the car have a lower coefficient of drag. Need two Prii side by side on the same roads to really compare the mpg numbers. I still say your car would look freakin awesome with those 17's :eyebrows:

The MPG impact from the 17s is too high to make up for with the simple body kit IMO.

I saw a Blizzard Pearl Prius the other day with the Plus 17" wheels on it and I had mixed feelings about it. My girlfriend said she thought they looked dirty and didn't like them. :(

So it all depends on what you want out of the car. The MPG impact is large for me because I drive nearly 30,000/yr but for someone with a more normal range of mileage the impact would only cost maybe $100-$150/yr. :)

Did you two get any pictures? I have yet to see the wheels in person. Likely I will get to see them when I pick my car up :p Holy crap 30k miles? Wow, I drive maybe 7k miles a year on my summer car. Might put a few more on my Prius but it only has 6 months to be on the road then the other 6 months there is salt which it will never touch.

What did you think of those wheels? Was the car all grubbed up & dirty so it looked blah or?

Too quick and springy. But I have a feeling the alignment is off.

More pics to come later today.

Those are two photos. The picture of the second car is with the original springs. The first car is with the Prius plus springs after 85 miles.

The bottom pic looks cleaner :) Ur gonna have to stop pulling in over that curb or you might snag the bottom side of the front end :( Definately can see the top pic shows less wheel well gap.

No way, that's a waste of money.

I only spent $485 total for the springs and the rear sway bar.

So your saying with the new springs the suspension is to quick and springy? You need more dampening? Is the ride a lot firmer?

    Thanks
    Bill
