What are some accessories I should definitely purchase along with the V?

So far I can only think of floor mats and a trunk mat. Also asking the dealer to remove the reverse beeping.

Either the bumper appliqué or black bumper protector, arm rest cover which I have yet to buy because the cloth looks fragile, pet hammock if you have a dog, and I really like my cargo net.
if you are up north or in the desert the all weather floor mats or husky equivalent are recommended. W

I would add splash guards (aka mud guards) to the list. I've added splash guards to all of my vehicles; I believe they help protect the paint from debris kicked up by the tires.

You don't have to purchase one from the dealer (the Priuschat shop has them for example) but if you live where it gets hot in summertime you should consider a folding/rollup shield for the windshield, and possible the rear window too. It helps greatly cut down on solar-induced heating of the car interior when parked.

I just got the Weatherbeaters cargo liner for the V. Fits the V very well.

I like the following, which I consider "must haves:"

    All weather mats

    Body side moldings

Rear bumper protector (hard plastic type)

    Mud flaps

    Cargo mat (carpeted)

You can get all of these from the PriusChat shop for a great price (and help support Danny and this site)

I also got window tint and will be getting a clear bra as soon as we get back to Colorado.

Actually, Tinting should do the trick for the rear window, as unlike the standard prius, it isn't the 'greenhouse' glass style. So there shouldn't be nearly as much light beating down through it, especially from a vertical angle. Definitely consider, though, getting some decent tinting for the sides or solar-shields for the sides as well as the front, cause even with the vertical angle of those windows, generally, you have more 'area' for the sun to burn in through on the sides with the v than you do the back and the sun will definitely heat up the car if you park in a North/South direction for super long periods of time.

I'd put on a Clear Bra first. All weather mats second.

Chuck the stock wimpy horns immediately, pick up a set of Fiamm Freeway Blasters at PepBoys or almost any decent auto parts store...20 bucks each, or cheaper from Amazon.
    15 minute install...

I was surprised how weak sounding the horn was. Thanks for the horn shopping tip!
