What type felt did you use?
How did you glue it in?

    Thanks

Wow. That is so neatly done! Are you an upholsterer in your spare time? And can you felt my box? (Ugh that didn't sound right.)

Just tried ordering one from my local dealership. $30. That is ridiculous for a cheap piece of plastic.

Ask Danny to do a group buy and then stock a few in the PC Store.

If there is a place to buy this tray for a reasonable price I'd love to hear about it too. I can't bring myself to spend $30 which is all I can find if you include shipping.

Thanks for that. $28.94 shipped to me. Ridiculous. But, may well be the cheapest way? Think I'll check the local dealer.

That tray could easily ship in a padded mailer for $2.80 to any US address. It would be about $4-5 to Canada. That is figuring an 8 ounce shipped weight. I sell on eBay daily and know how to move product with reasonable shipping costs.

It's lame that my new 2013 doesn't have the tray either. Are these coming as standard equipment? (If so, I should contact my sales guy to get it free). Or, do they leave them out on purpose? (I have to purchase one).

I ended up buying one for my 2012. The problem is that the tray is fixed in the rear on pins so that you cannot simply remove the tray to get at stuff underneath as you could in the Gen II models. With this one you have to tilt the tray up from the front and whatever you have in the tray gets dumped out. Close to useless.

can't you cut the pins off, or do they support the back?
