My new Habanero Prius "C" #3 was parked in my driveway and I was sitting in a chair on the front porch, when I had a full side view of the "C" and gazed at it for about a minute--and you know what? The "C" is one very-CUTE car to look at, especially from a side view. What do you think?:cheer2:

Toyota did a formidable job of combining a good aerodynamic shape and aesthetics to make the c a very nice, balanced looking little car. They seemed to use a reasonable amount of design restraint, since it is not overwhelmed with character lines across every panel. It's very easy to clutter up a car that is as small as the c.

The car really looks very good.

Cute is not quite what came to mind when I first saw the new Prius c, but as the saying goes, "cutefulness must be in the eye of the beholder!";)

Exactly, it's an extremely challenging task to make a very short car (157") that is both aerodynamic and attractive. I think Toyota did the best possible job, but they were fighting against impossible proportions. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

I see greater beauty in the function, not form. The true genius is offering a full hybrid starting at $20,000, trimming its weight by 542 lb, fitting the mechanicals into such a short engine bay (including a scaled down HSD!), improved display, better Camry seats, fitting the hybrid battery below the rear seat AND allowing enough rear headroom without raising the roofline, etc. This is hybrid engineering at its finest.

Today's newspaper review gave the opinion the c is the best looking of the bunch and I tend to agree.

Looks are very important to many car buyers and the c probably has the best 'attitude' thing going on. Not that Prius and v are bad.

Wait til the 4th gen Prius comes out. Toyota will take it up another notch. Should be 3 years from now.

I suppose you can fairly call the Prius c "cute".

I actually think it looks "sporty".

To generalize? So excuse me if you disagree. But I think most guys, don't like their vehicles being described at "cute".

I've had a few people call my Honda Fit "cute"...and I don't say anything because they mean it as a compliment. But? I don't like it.

For me? Call it Sporty...or anything....but don't call my car "cute"...Cute? I don't want in relationship to my vehicle.

Yeah it also looks bigger from the side view. When you look at it from top-down you can't really tell how long it actually is.

Yes, women like to be told they have a cute car, but it's insultive to men. Sporty works better.

That's the genius of the design. It has curb appeal for both sexes for different reasons.

From the side view, I suppose it is "cute." However, the front looks absolutely furious. It looks like a great big angry chipmunk with its cheeks full.

I think when I get mine I'll see if my friend can fab up some front teeth to fit the lower grill opening.

My wife and I decided that it has the snout of a guinea pig and the tail fins of a rocket. So, it's both cute and sporty -- what's not to like? :)

By the way, I've been eager to see someone else's around town, but hadn't seen another yet. Then today I went for a hike outside of town and there were TWO parked at the trailhead. One already had license plates, the other still had the temporary plate. I wonder if the other drivers did the same double-take when they saw mine.
