I always shop for my new car via internet or call the internet sales person. The two dealerships are very terrible. Power Toyota called me and I asked her what is the best price for 2012 Prius II, MSRP $24,985. Instead, she gave pricing, she asked me how much money do you want to spend. I said, give the best price, then she emailed with $24,985 +TTL. what a joke. Toyota of Orange internet sales person is very unprofessional. He would not even give pricing over the phone. I got quote over the phone from Longo and Miller. They are very nice internet sales persons. Finally, I purchased the car from Mille Toyota in Anaheim

If I were in Southern California I'd definitely give Dianne Whitmire a shot at Carson Toyota in Carson California before going other places.

I agree. Dianne and her assistant Nathan took great care of us.

Next time when I am in the market for a new Toyota again I will Call Diannne. She seems very popular in this forum. I purchased my 2012 Prius II from Miller in Anaheim. I am very happy with the price and the professionalism of the Salesman at Miller.

I dealt with Pete Westin @ Toyota of Orange. Is that the person you talked to? He offered a leftover 2011 II for $21,900 + TTL. Unfortunately, I didn't buy from them bc the sales manager was a jerk. He tried to lowball my trade and told me "I don't want your car, it's ugly. We're doing you a favor by offering you a low price on the Prius."---Well forget you then, you're not the only dealer in the area:hand:.

I find it interesting they took that approach. A lot of dealerships just want to get the customer in the building at all costs. Even if that means providing a quote they can't actually deliver on.

I wish I could apologize for the people in those dealerships. Sometimes a bad experience can turn someone off from a whole brand, not just a dealership.

Next time you're in the market I'd invite you to give me and my team a try

Jacob, you did the right thing by posting on this forum and making yourself available to this community. There was and are a lot of people (myself included) that can benefit from just speaking to Toyota dealers on this site. It would be great for your business as well.

That is the whole reason I am here. It helps if the dealership is active in the communities that pay the bills. We should be here to answer the most mundane of questions, not just pop up when a purchase is to be made.

I'm old school in mentality. So I prefer a firm handshake and some accountability goes a long way.

If there is anything I can help with don't hesitate to ask!

This is a nice forum if you are in the market of a new car. I am sure the Toyota sales person will treat you good otherwise they will have bad reputation.
