Clicking noise behind the Glove Box??

    This story is another reminder that the hard, curvy interior can make it very difficult to identify the source of a rattle or buzz. The sound can bounce around a lot before it gets to your ears. When you hear a rattle check *everything*: all the cup holders, the sunglasses box, the drawer in the rear, the forgotten bottle of Poland Spring water jammed in the door, ...

    I had this same problem, though found it myself. For one year this bugged the heck out of me. One year!!! Talk about feeling like an idiot. Heh. So glad that noise is gone. :)

    I had an annoying rattle that I could not pinpoint. It was the sun visor. A few days prior I had swung it to the left window to block the late afternoon sun. I had not clipped it back into the holder and on bumpy roads was producing a rattle.

    I have your answer! The clicking noise is an indicator that your 12V battery is about to die. Probably time to replace it. If you wait until it actually does die, it emits the most horrible sulphur smell you ever experienced. Better to address it now.
