The basic $749 Katskin leather looks a lot like the factory leather. Heaters are an extra cost option, you also get to choose from a lot of other options the Toyota doesn't have. There are some comfort options like perforated leather seating areas and gel pads in the front seats that are worth considering. I managed to run mine up to $1024 without heaters but like the way it looks and feels a lot better than stock Toyota.

I've bought two sets for two cars - both from autointeriorslive.com - they were priced like $200 cheaper in comparison (got upgraded Tuscany leather). They always were cheaper than other places I looked, and had great customer service...

I have the dark gray interior. Does the factory gray leather come with gray leather on the steering wheel, or black?

My combo was a bit less expensive at ShopSAR.

Were you perhaps comparing list price vs your source?

Call Coach Auto Restylers in Orange, CA - they do many Pri's for dealers...

So excited, getting my Katzkin installed next week! My order WOULD have been $999.99 installed, but I just had to take it a step further and customize it some more...

    1) Had to have it in BLACK (have the dark gray interior and I didn't like the stock Katzkin colors - had to be black!). +$100 as Katzkin apparently has to make it custom when you don't pick factory recommended colors.

    2) So now that I'm paying custom prices I decided to go with the silver stitching to match the silver trim pieces on the console and doors

    3) And now that I'm doing silver stitching I told them to go ahead and sew the Toyota logo mid back for the front two seats, another +$100

    4) Finally, like the OP, the biggest jump was adding the Katzkin heaters for the front two seats - thank you for the idea on where to locate the switches by the way! +$400

So yea, all the customs are turning a $1000 Katzkin install into a $1600 Katzkin install, I'll post back with pictures once it's done! :)

$1600 could've gotten you a Four with similar stitching (among other things) so you must really like black :)

Love black over the factory colors and I love my custom logo on the seats, cant get that on a Four. I also love the look and feel of Katzkin better than the factory leather

When buying our new IV with softex the dealer repeatedly tried to sell us a three with aftermarket leather and heat for an add'l $1600. The thought of "aftermarket" seat covers and heat that "you just stick in there" really put me off.
After seeing these upgrades in these boards, they look AWESOME! very impressive.
