Entune Update and First Maintenance

    The only option which is new is about reconnecting. I have not seen that before. Will try these tomorrow morning and let u know. Thanks for the instructions.

    No luck. Followed procedures and still not able to connect with bluetooth :(

    You need to confirm what version of iOS you are using. It wasn't until a certain update to iOS that the internet connection sharing over bluetooth became a problem. If your iPad has an old OS (iOS 5.0 or earlier, I think, per the TSB... not the one mentioned above, but a different one that has been issued ), then it should work fine. The same goes with the iPhones. The newer OS is the problem. Having a tethering plan or jailbreaking with a tethering plan gets around the new OS issue because you have given the phone explicit allowances to share the internet connection via bluetooth.

    Toyota is working on the issue. They were caught with their pants down when iOS updated and for now, the only fix is the physical tether via the USB cable. This is pretty much uncharted territory as far as phone to automobile integration. There will be teething issues especially as Apple and Android change their OS with zero regard to those that are trying to integrate with it. Nature of the beast.
