Prius C3: Classic Silver Mettalic

    My first Hybrid vehicle. The drive home from the dealership was fun! I can't wait to drive it some more. I was actually planning on getting the 2nd trim, but in the end, the 3rd trim won out. I'm glad I made that decision.

    The car has been really fun to ride so far. After going through the documentation that came with the car, I was a little disappointed to find out how limiting the entune system can be. In particular:

    1. If you have an iPhone, it needs to be tethered to the USB port to have the entune system connect to the internet (makes sense I guess, because to do it wirelessly, you need to sign up for the 'hot spot' plan with your carrier.

    2. You're actually on a 3 year trial with the entune system. I'm assuming all the apps will be disabled after year 3. Does that also include the navigation system? That would suck.

    Other than those gripes, I'm really loving the car!

    After 3 year trial period, Toyota will charge a fee to use their apps, not sure if it's a subscription fee or one-time off... But you can still use Pandora for free...

    I'm wondering the same thing. My current car has tinted windows and I LOVE the look of your car. Curious if the grade, it looks super sleek!

    Yes you made an excellent choice and the alloys
    really stand out.

    I know you will enjoy your Prius as much as my wife
    and I enjoy ours, even with 72,000 miles and
    3 years of ownership we still enjoy driving it almost
    like its a brand new car....

    Great! That is what I had scheduled mine to be although they said that legal was 20% in front and 35% on the back windows.. I thought that would look goofy! you don't have any trouble seeing out of them at night do you?

    No, you still have the NAV after three years if you elect not to carry on with Entune.
