I finally installed my Megan Coilovers over the weekend and I'm still playing around with the ride height that suits my requirement. Also, HIDs, white LED interior/exterior lighting were done.

(front is almost all the way down. Almost 3" drop from stock and the rears are about 2 1/4" dropped with about 1/2 left to go)

I believe you may be the first on the forum who has lowered their v. Congrats!

3inches in front seems like too much. I would think 2 inches would be ideal all around. Please post your experience with these as they settle in. I would love to know what you decided to set the ride height and damper settings to.

    Dayum! It looks awesome!

Don't black out the wheels though. Please! It looks great as it.

I asked for 5% (Limo Tint) in the back windows and 50% in the front windows. The front looks more like 35% and the tint shop claimed I asked for 35%. I'll have it re-tinted when I get a fix-up ticket for it.

I agree that 3 inches drop is a lot for daily driving but it does looks so cool. It's looking like the fronts will be 2 - 2.5 inches. I'm going to adjust the height to dampening this weekend (going with 32, softest settings all around).

I like "murdered-out" or "black out" theme on other people's car but not on mine so no black wheels here. I'm going to test fit my 16" BBS this weekend and we'll see how it looks and drives. I also have an old 18", 19", 20" rims that I'm going to try in the future just to get an idea of the wheel spec that I want. The 20" rims will be mounted just for giggles.

Thanks for the compliments. I not planning on going all show or even close to that. I just like to have a nice clean looking daily driven car with a little fashion to go with the function.

BTW, first time I have to remove a windshield wiper motor to lower a car but it's easier compared to lowering a Toyota Previa where you almost have to remove half of the dashboard.

I'm waiting to see a Prius or a "v" lowrider, with hydraulics and all.

The vato loco from "ist allay" would be proud.

Looks kind of like the current Subaru WRX. You just need some gold rims! :D

Ride quality in the softest setting and at 2" drop is almost near stock.

Handling, let me just say, I left my my friend's Modded BMW 3 series on a nicely curved freeway onramp but he immediately caught up to me on the straightway. :( He didn't expect me to take those curves that fast.

At a 3" inch drop with hardest settings on the struts/shocks, the ride is too firm for me but going through the twisties, gives me the confidence and smile to my face.

Currently, it's set to 2 1/4" drop and the struts/shocks setting is near softest (32 is softest it's set at 25) for my daily commute.

Overall, I'm glad I went with coilovers. It made the V even more fun to drive.

The moment that I saw the Prius v, I thought "that car would look fantastic if it was just SLAMMED." Thank you for proving that. Now, how about a hellaflush 17" wheel setup?

Tanabe should be coming out with some soon. They tested their NF210s and their Sustec Pro coilovers on my v. I ended up with the coilovers. They havent officially released them yet and not sure whats taking so long. I can call my contacts over there if you are really interested.

yeah been emailing Nico and he told me the sets wont be in till mid Aug. Even your R&D springs were sent back to Japan.

I now in talks with B-G and we're going to see if the prius III springs fit the V. I really dont know if anythings changed between the two but we will see soon.

    Thanks for the response.
