Some "C" owners said they wanted "Z" pics when I bought her--so, Meet Kristine!:rockon:

I will have to admit, that's one nice looking car! Love the red!! Hopefully you will get some competitive MPG numbers like the Prii get.
Keep posting, I would like to hear how this car works for you!

    Enjoy! :welcome:

Great. Thx 4 the link. If I can avg 43mpg, I will not mind one little bit about paying an extra $500 bucks a year for petrol. The manual shift alone is worth that--to me!:rockon:

Put a hybrid synergy drive in that thing and it would be perfect! Very nice car. Really like the Red.

I've had manual shift cars since I got my license in the 1970s, but with the ever-increasing traffic in the NY metro area I finally got tired of shifting and switched to the Prius C a couple of weeks ago.

Back in 1985 I had a Honda CRX Si two-seater, the first fuel injected Civic, and loved it. I was tempted by the CR-Z this time, but the Prius won out.

DITTO about the CRX Si--I owned one also.
I was likewise tempted by both the "C" and the "Z" and the "Z" won out--for me!:D

    Nice looking car!
My wife has refused to let me buy a standard transmission, or I would have put this car at the top of my shopping list to check out.

Enjoy, and let us know how fuel economy goes.

Fortunately BOTH my wife & I prefer standard-shift vehicles...she has a 2012 MAZDA3 S GT Hatchback--gets 30mpg +/-....after several tankfuls. Less than 100 miles on the "Z" so far, but I plan driving 'somewhere' a couple hours away tomorrow just to see wha' happens. Wifey is is N.O. for the weekend so I can go anywhere I want~LOL. I'm seriously hoping it'll avg 35-40 mpg....but do not know yet!
Will keep the site posted--AFTER I know! Yeahhhhhh, Baby!:rockon:

Was tempted as well, but was coming off a Baja and wanted a car that would be easier for r/t's in terms of ride and space..

I have been considered one of these as well. Love the look of the car and the manual option is awesome. Please keep us posted on how it works out for you. Hoping that the mpg numbers are better than epa (they seem low). I would prefer black for this car, but then the Prius c is red. Congrats!

Always thought the Z was a hot lookin little car! I'm sure with an MT it'll be fun to drive and probably turn in some good mpg numbers. Practical, nope, but can't have everything!;)

I drove a 2000 Honda Insight until a couple weeks ago. I checked out the cr-z last summer/fall and thought it was the logical successor to the original insight, whereas the new insight is a different animal.

I liked the style of the car, but the one I looked at was black and I'm done with black. Had it been a sweet color I might have fell for it. I remember being put off by the mpg rating though, which kept me looking and I found that the c was coming out. I expected the c to beat the regular prius numbers and I believe it does that easily, so I'm pleased with my c. I'm way over about 85% toward the function over form side though, so I have to have the performance of the mileage first, if it looks good or not is a bonus opportunity. C looks pretty good, but certainly not anywhere in the same sexiness class as that cr-z --- meeeeowwww

I do wish you many years of great service from your beautiful cr-z!
