I ordered a HeatShield from Danny at Prius Accessory Shop on 12/2, and all I've received so far is a Visa charge through PayPal. He doesn't return my emails. This is unaccepatable.

Also, I ordered and received a suede dashmat from Go.dashmat.com.

This thing is a mess. The material, although very lightweight, is visually pleasing. The construction, however, is very complicated, with many cuts and bends. I've set in in place for days hoping it would contour to the dash but it simply will never fit right.

I've requested three Return Authorizations via email and voicemail without any acknowledgement.

Looks like their scam is that returns will be authorized only within 10 days of receipt.

I suggest you beware Prius Accessory Shop and Go.Dashmat.com.

You can call your CC and let them know there is an problem and they will hold the charges and contact the company for you.

You'll do a lot better contacting the heatshield folks directly for a resolution.

I ordered my heatshield on 10-26-05 and also got credited through PayPal for $30.00. Never recieved the order and never made contact with company even though I tried many times. Heck of a way to run a business. Use caution ordering anything here. :(

I emailed " CanvasWorks" directly today. We'll see if they remove this jerkoff "Danny" as their agent. B)

Danny is the "jerkoff" who started and does a great job in maintaining PC. He is usually very responsive and responsible. I have the impression his job is very demanding and requires some travel.

I'd suggest you back off, especially due to the relatively short time you have been here.

Sorry Danny, I know you can speak very well for yourself but I woke up in a bad mood and just had to add my 2 cents.

I agree, you've done almost nothing to resolve the issue on your own, you wait until Christmas weekend to seek "help" (or did you just wanna bitch?).

And you must lead one helluva charmed life if your idea of a "nightmare" is a delay of 3 weeks on getting a $30 sunscreen for your car in the middle of winter.

Also, if you paid any attention at all you'd know that Danny is the middle man. I highly suspect the "jerk off" is Canvas Works as it turns out that they are generally the source of delays on their products.

And I'm putting in my $0.02 too, if there's a jerk-off here it sure as hell isn't Danny, it's the OP with the impatience and short fuse.

I got mine within 10 days back in late August. It's the middle of winter. If anything, CanvasWorks may be doing other things aside from sunshades. I suggest you find out the source of the problem rather than pointing fingers.

I've been the middleman on several occasions. When the people your representing are on their game, you are the hero and savior to the customers. But when the guys "behind the curtain" start falling behind, you're the one catching the flack.

To be fair to you, too (EXCEPT for "jerkoff"), I understand your frustration. Danny doesn't return all my e-mails, either. But those of us who know what he does (for a living, as well as PC) know that his availability varies. Please cut him some slack.

And I think someone other than Danny, if possible, might have more time to be a middleman on these products. Depending on exactly what it entails, I'd volunteer to do it myself. Or maybe one of the mods (who's not an M.D.!) has a little time. Business is business, personal factors aside.

i dont think you realize what has to be done to maintain this site. its more than a full time job... and he does have a real job ya know not to mention family commitments, holidays, etc...

give him time, im sure he will resolve your issues. he is only the middleman here. he doesnt make the stuff.

The fact that there's a family and a real life job is an excuse, but if you yourself aren't aware what needs to be done to maintain a website like this, don't use it as an excuse. A site that's primarily message board based is practically self-maintaining and almost any maintenance can be scripted/automated.
