Anyone ever have front end damage to their Prius?

    Last night a couple of teens high on some sort of drug hit my Prius and took off. Luckily the cops were able to catch them (and they had insurance)... but bad news is they did some serious damage to my car, and only to my car.

    They hit the front passenger side and not only did body damage, but it looks like my tire is pushed back into the wheel well (hub cap ripped to shreds). The drive's side tire was pushed into the curbing and is not flat as a pancake (also with shredded hub cap).

    The adjuster is coming out today to inspect the damage for my claim... I am a little worried if there is any damage to the fuel cell system. Not only due to the front end impact, but also the axle looks like it might be cracked/bent/broken?

    I just bought this car 2 weeks ago :(

    Had a young girl run a red light and clip the passengers side bumper. $4000 in damages .No fuel cell or electronic issues. Good luck. Heartbreaker on a new car like that :-(

    I feel really bad for you and your new car. :(. At least their insurance will cover it all.

    Looks like a new door, fender, front bumper cover, & wheel well shrouds. You don't have a fuel cell so no damage there. Thank you for keeping the collision away from me & Drew.
