ok it's always tough to change . . . . especially for us old middle aged fossels . . . . if the Lion's share find the new look to be better ... i'll work on faking a smile.

I'm just hoping the new stuff is saving Danny & PC a boat load of $$$ . . . . . that too, counts.

While I appreciate all the efforts, this Blue font on White is ripping the eyeballs out of my head! It is truly painful for me to read the thread list. At least the threads are Black Font over white, VERY readable! OK, only complaint, moving on....
I too would be curious if the move is saving you some money?
    I don't need an amount, just a yay/nay will do! :D

Although it sometimes means I have miss some buttons and lables, I have long time used high-contrast type font changes, and makes reading this form a lot better, at least for me. Darkest black background with nice gold letter--somewhat emulating the old HP SuperBee terminals, or any of the old IT guys out there! :) :)
If someone wants to try, I've got settings for XP or Win7.....

Just another problem I have noticed, my previous How To Threads and Posts are full of pics, now many of them do not display the pics. It worked just fine in the old version, what happened? Frankly, Wth! I put many hours into some of those Threads and Posts, now what? While I can delete pics, I cannot upload any new ones, what's up with that?? Anybody else have this problem??
I sent Danny a message a week ago, no reply!
If there is way to fix this, what needs to be done?
If I have to redo all those posts, that's not going to be easy!
Any moderator reading this, PM me please!

I believe the software change was driven by performance. PC had become too large for the previous software, so Danny made the switch. I suspect that costs are higher, not lower, but we can now serve more users.

As for the format changes, I don't really mind. I run a large hi-res monitor and the new system is easy enough for me to read.

As for KK6PD's comment about previous photos, Danny has commented that he is working on a solution.

At work, our Mongo sized multinational corporation still uses IE6 for web browsing - and half way down some of the PC pages, images disappear & text streams single file down the left margin.

I still hate the new look. Too bad, I'd be more active if I could navigate the darn site like every other forum. The site has great value in the discussions but a terrible layout. I'll stick around because I've ordered a PHV but I don't have to like it :p

Ugh. I won't bother repeating it all but rather say I agree with the folks that don't like the new layout.

p.s. There's no way PriusChat was too large to run vBulletin. It's one of, if not the top forum software on the 'net.

I found the "Quick" solution was to spend hours relinking the pics to the thousands of posts I have made and relink pics. I spent HOURS doing this, and I know I still have missed some. Too bad.... v Bulletin was just fine, but it's not my board!
    Moving on!
