I just replaced the 12v battery in my 2004 Prius. The dealer wanted $300 to do it. I found the Optima for $200 online (delivered). The dealer said they have it for $200 over the counter. I used a 30% off coupon, and got it for $140 plus tax. Not too bad.

It was a pain to get in, compared to a regular battery. Mostly 10mm and 12mm ratchets, and extender. Went ok, though. I finished yesterday and took a test drive.

Here is my problem. Car is running fine, but some serious warning lights are on. First the "!" and then the split car thing. I'm guessing I just need to hit some reset button. Anyone know where that is???

After a few starts everything should settle down & the idiot lights should turn off. The reset button is on a ScanGauge.
