I bought a used 2010 Prius. Love it. How do I reset the mpg computer? It reads that the last 1001 miles mpg average and does not change. Is there a way to reset the computer so that I see my actual mpg rather than the previous owners readings?

    Thanks

Are you talking about trips? Or other MPG readouts on the display? Please be more specific as to which screen you are talking about. Pictures might even be best.

What I mean as this screen shows imgur: the simple image sharer . Where it says 52.4. (sorry to grap a capture of another post) Anyway I have the trip A and B and then one that says something like fuel economy last 1001 miles. That is the one I wonder if I can reset.

Whatever one you want to reset...just be on that one and then hold down the trip button until it zeros out.

    Thanks.
I finally figured it out. Just messing with the buttons long enough and I figured it out. Whew I feel better now.
