Moldy AC Filter

    My wife kept complaining about a musty smell in the car, so I pulled out the cabin air filter and it was covered with mold. The car has less than 9,000 miles and is 1-1/2 years old. Perhaps when we kept it in FL for five months before brining it to KY was the problem. However, I will check the filter at least once a year.

    Turn A/C off a couple of miles before you get to your destination. That dries your evaporator.
