Are you satisfied with your newer styled Prius and why?

    We are very pleased.

Great gas mileage, good handling, wonderfully roomy and comfortable.

Very pleased and satisfied. I was looking at the Gen II in 2007 when my wife needed a new car. Did not buy one then due to bad experience with our local dealership.

When I was ready to buy myself a new car in 2009 I was really pleased to see the improvements between the Gen II to the Gen III. I only test drove the Gen II so it is hard for me to compare.

Most of those on PC that went from the Gen II to the Gen III seem to have been pleased.

Yes. Went from 2006 Prius Five to 2012 Prius Four. I liked my 2006 very much (except for the seats) and I like my 2012 even more.

I agree except I was more comfortable in the GenII than the GenIII. I'm 6'3" and my back and legs get sore in the GenIII. I get much bettr mpg in my GenIII as well.

The Power Driver Seat in the Four is much more comfortable and adjustable than the non-power version.

I know. I couldn't afford the Four and the solar roof though. :(

The Gen 3 is delivering slightly better FE & is a bigger heavier car. The avionics make it much more civilized on long trips. I loved my Gen 2 but I won't go back. The next car has a lot to live up to.

I loved my 2005 package #6. I love my 2012 Four even more! There are a few things that aren't wonderful, like the position of the cub holder. And the flying buttress took a bit of getting used to. But I wouldn't go back.

larger, smoother, quieter and better mpg's. don't like the flying bridge/cupholder arrangement but hey, you can't have everything. i also like the climate control buttons vs touch screen.

I am also 6'3" but I find the driving position quite comfortable. I weight 150.

Seems to be better than my 2002 Camry, but again the Prius and I have not gone on out of state road trips yet.

BTW living in central Texas, it takes 5-6 hrs just to get out of the state, any direction you go. ;)

Cup holders, transmission joy stick, fall into the "Wth" category. Everything else is great.

Kept my Gen II, the wife loves having it rather than the Voyager she was driving. I'm (of course) driving the Gen III (2012) and love it. Really like what they did with the front end from the 2 previous years, great info on the displays compared to the Gen II - absolutely adore how the cruise holds back from continuing to coast faster & faster on a long downhill grade - Jake Brake even kicked in the other day in the mountains when the Regen couldn't keep down the coasting speed! I love the light gray option on interior - looks way classy - flash drive plug to MP3 very cool. Yes I love the many upgrades - bought my Gen III for less than what I paid for the same model Gen II ! Happy Camper here.

Absolutely! Better mpg, height adjustable seat, no need for complete stop to get into S4, handsfree phone, satellite radio...

What do I miss? The secret drawer and closed console.

I agree regarding the "avionics," although I would have liked to also have altitude, airspeed, exhaust gas temperature, and a rate of climb indicator.
