I ordered on May 13 because they had a 20% off coupon for mother's day and received it on the 19th. It took them a couple of days to ship it and when I called them, they said they were waiting for the ballast to come in. The final price including free shipping was $104. I didn't take any pictures but the bulbs were the ones shown on their video. I was able to install with the red o-ring still attached. I got the 4300K bulbs and the ground return wire insulation color is white. Also the connectors are real connectors, just like in their video. . . no stupid bare metal spades. I would request different bulbs and return the ones you got.

Update: Still no resolution from Xenonsupply after several posts to their ticket system with pictures uploaded, and 3 calls, 2 messages.

No one else makes a ground shadow free Prius kit? If I wanted this kind of customer service I would of went with a cheapy no name ebay special.

Does any member live close to xenonsupply? Maybe someone can stop by there and rattle a cage? They were very responsive in my transaction.

I live close enough to them. If i had a PIP, I would make it all on EV :) Didn't want to drive down and find out there are no bulbs.

I also ordered some bulbs from them, and apparently they are in back order. The representative on the phone said the new inventory should arrive this week.

They said bulbs were held up in customs.

They finally emailed me back. I went to Xenonsupply and swapped out my bulbs yesterday. The bulbs match the OP's and today they went in with one try even though the tabs when place side by side to OEM are still higher. I used the OEM gaskets since they were more uniform than Xenonsupply's (which were a bit warped).

They could definitely work on communication, but everything works and looks good now. Make sure you don't get the bulbs with the metal tabs. So about a month after the order, several calls, messages, and emails. I have HID.

So in conclusion, my 2nd set of bulbs had

    - Plastic tabs instead of metal (fit perfect like others that have ordered it)
    - Spades switched back to connector for water resistance
    - Rubber heat shrink a lot more secure around the base of the bulb so you can turn and lock the bulb in without worry about damaging wires

HIDs are not designed to be used as high beams due to slow warm up times. You're better of sticking with halogens for the high beam.

Putting HIDs in the reflector highbeam would just be a waste of money not to mention the ungodly glare u would be creating.

If haveing highbeam HIDs is a must u should consider doing a HID retro fit with a Bi-xenon HID projector like the FX, FX-R, RX projectors just to name a few.

As far s I am aware HIDs in High Beam are illegal here in the UK and would fail the annual M.O.T. test. Due to the fact of the warm up time.

Just wanted to make sure you know that the low beam and the high beam in the model year 2010 and later are separate bulbs. Changing out the low beams to HID has no effect on the high beam.

Which kit did everyone get? The 89.99 or the more expensive one?

What is the difference between the different options, 3000, 4300, and 6000? Is it just the color temperature? I'm more interested in overall brightness than the color itself - what do people recommend?
