No, one sway bar may be replaced, front or rear. The other mods of a Plus car would move the car to FSP.

Maybe you should try an autocross event and then read it again.

You provide nothing, considering you are a toyota tech. You aren't very forth coming with details just statements then details.... consider using your line of work to help express your self so others can follow what you are doing... posting a thread Brake Time!... oh yeah? go figure you would auto cross, no thanks. blocked due to the fact you make me lose faith in Toyota service quality.

Anyone with any common sense can see this is a brake upgrade. If you're too stupid to see that then stay out of my thread.

Drilled rotors have the same effect as painting the calipers red, they are an eye candy.
Weight reduction can be more effectively achieved with floating rotors (rotor hats made of aluminum).
As Paul stated, in autocross heat is not a problem, you actually want heat to generate a better brake bite.

Paul, does the PIP has different strut/spring combo?

Yes due to the added weight. I plan to swap to pip dampers for the increased valving.

Wow, do you act like this in the "Z" community? It's pretty obvious to me and apparently others (since you are the only one complaining in this thread) that this is a brake UPGRADE, thus meaning it would belong in the MODIFICATION section. You have a very clear misunderstanding of how the Prius braking system works, especially under heavy stress such as autocross. Prius running oem pads and rotors after an autox event can be touched by a bare finger, the don't generate gobs of heat like a car with traditional brakes would. The use of regen and b mode helps cut brake heat buildup dramatically. OEM pads as well as the Hawk HPS pads have the center slot that you mention to help dissipate gasses developed during braking.

This thread is becoming ridiculous, if you disagree with what is being done in a thread why even bother posting in the first place? Perhaps your "Z" community takes pride in bashing each others threads and being rude but this is not how the Priuschat community works. We try to lend helpful advice to one another and keep the overall morale high.

I have provided information not useless statements, try "reading" the whole thread before speaking. And I'm sure your vast experience working on Hyundia's gives you such a great understanding on all brake systems. Considering Hyundai has some of least desireable suspension and brake setups of the batch.

None of the information provided by the OP warrant this thread as a modification, but a statement since there were zero discussion points or questions. And considering I am the only one asking questions, I am complaining ( not sure if you are stating an observation or trying to look like captain obvious). Another useless technician from a brand of cars I would never consider, and thus consider you a waste of time to read or responsd to as well. Maybe start with reading and or learning to read before getting in the mix. Ignored.

I am starting to fear that all these people that work for car service centers are nothing but TSB translators with no knowledge or no ability to share knowledge.

Then Mr know it all, what do u want to know. You don't autocross so the use of these pads have no bearing on you. You seem to be the typical all show 'n no go type anyway. Because we don't bow down and kiss your feet you're questioning our abilities as techs? Ok. I don't have to prove myself to you, you've been a member of this forum how long?

Can we all just get along? How about an "Autocross/Track section" section like in any other "normal" car forum?

As far as brakes, I agree with Josh.

Been wanting one for a while. Grabbing not your typical Prius driver, go figure. But seeing the expressions on people's faces when they're out run by a nearly stock Prius is priceless. It's changed many perceptions, especially the regulars. Those that great me with laughter at an event are usually silenced after the first run.

Wow. Way to make some killer assumptions. Listen jackass, I DID read the entire thread before posting and have yet to discover anyone but YOU having problem understanding that this is upgrade not just a standard replacement. I dont appreciate your smartass tone towards me and my knowledge that you know nothing about. FOR YOUR INFORMATION I'm far from just a tsb translater with no know how. Also, bet you didn't know I worked for Toyota for several years, not just for Hyundai. Guess you've never seen some of my helpful/KNOWLEDGEABLE posts around here. Guess that would require you to get your head out of your nice person and stop being the typical customer 'service knows nothing about my car, yet I bring to them to have it worked on'. Since you clearly know everything, why don't you share some of your great knowledge instead of being an nice person. Probably too hard for you.

Yeah would probably work. Be a lot of money with little return on these cars though.
