Yeah, another thing forgot to mention. Even if you will go with solid decision to cancel your EW, they will be trying really hard to change your mind and come back later... may be? Look from the other angle, if it would not be profitable for the dealer would they offer it?:cautious:

That is going to be determined by state law and also what your finance contract states - while you would like your payment reduced it may just not be possible. If you think that the extended warranty is not needed (and I would in your position) cancel it and deal with the consequences, realizing the money works out in the long run.

The "finance guy" is a liar They all are. There is a standard sales technique where they get you in the office and try to scare you into buying an overpriced, extended warranty that they add onto the purchase price of the car. They always mention the fact that "the car has over 50 computers in it that cost thousands to replace when they go bad" in order to frighten you. What they dont tell you...is that the main engine computer is an emissions component and subject to the long-term emissions warranty ( 100K I believe). If you still want an extended warranty, then shop around for one after you have bought the car, otherwise you are paying interest to finance an overpriced warranty that you wont even need until years later when the factory warranty has expired.
