    Date Ordered: 9/17/05
    Dealer Ordered From Alton, IL
Timeframe given for delivery: 5 - 6 months
Color: Classic Silver Metallic, Silver Pine Mica, or Seaside Pearl
    Option Package: #5
    Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: 17

I talked to my sales person yesterday and changed my option package to a #5 since #4 is not available at my dealer. I also added 2 more colors that I would acccept.

He said it could be any day or as long as 3 months????

They have known since we did---mid-Nov.---what packages they sell. Was there a mix-up (sounds like it) that resulted in your (now) being lower on the list than you had thought?

I can't believe the WAIT. My local dealer had 4 on the lot last week and they keep getting them at a pretty good pace.

Give my buddy an email and see if he can't help you out and end your WAITING.

    Good Luck........Tom :)

I'm not any lower on the list. They told me in mid-Sept when I ordered it would be 5 - 6 months which would be mid-Feb or March.

They did not know in Sept that the packages and colors had changed. At that time, #4 was an option for this dealer. I'm purchasing from a dealer that is 2 hrs away in a bordering state. The local dealer can get a #4, but I won't purchase from them.

Do you think if I was #17 on the list in Sept for an 06 that I should have it by now or sooner?

On the positive side, it will still be eligible for the $3,100 tax credit in three months and you won't be getting as much cold weather to lower your gas mileage. :D ( At least this is the justification I am using for my wait)

Thanks for pointing out the positive! Another positive is that it gives me more time to save even more $ for the down payment which means less to finance.
