I really liked your pics, very helpful. Do you know what cables are the remote & power cables behind factory unit? Thanks.

It's been a while so I'm not 100% sure. I didn't have to use the remote wire for my situation or the power cables either. If you look at this photo, on the very right is the harness with the speaker outputs for the front speakers:
Zenfolio | TychoBrahe | Prius Shared Stereo | Random Images of Head Unit Label and Harnesses

The harness to the left of it is the harness for the rear speakers, I think. If you go here and click the Toyota PDF link you'll see a diagram that might help. The Install Doctor - The Do-It-Yourself Car Stereo Installation Resource - Quick Wiring Section - Radio and Stereo Wire Colors But it looks like the brown wire from the first harness I mentioned from my photo is the ground wire. And the accessory connector(s) is empty.

So on the PDF look for C, D and G as the two types of power wire and the ground wire. I'm not sure about the remote. As far as I can tell from my photo, H and I are empty so is there even a remote wire ? Or rather, does the stock stereo have the functionality but they just left the wire off ? I'm not sure.

Take everything I just said with caution and please do more research :)

Thanks, Crutchfield was very helpful as well. They sent me wiring lists for 2012 Prius C. I hooked up Power Pack and sounds good, I am now starting to replace speakers. I replaced the rear speakers and used the black & pink stock rear right factory wire as positive, and the red & pink stock left factory wire for positive on left side. Everything works fine, but I have a question regarding the front. I noticed your pic regarding the 4 wire tweeter input harness and needed some clarification. You said to plug in wires 1 & 3 into woofer? Is that correct? If that is so, which of the 2 are negative, and which is positive. I will be installing a Alpine component set with x-over and want to be sure. appreciate the help, thanx.

That is a very good question.

First, I just wanted to say I had a really difficult time deciding what colors those wires were. The damn pinks and purples are blending in ( or maybe I'm becoming color blind ). I think you're referring to this image:
Zenfolio | TychoBrahe | Prius Shared Stereo | Stock Tweeter Harness

So, that's why I just referred to them as pins 1 and 3 in the image. Basically, I really didn't know which speaker wires were positive or negative. It shouldn't matter as long as you can pick a convention and remain consistent for all the speaker wires and speaker terminals in your system ( for example the striped wire is negative and will connect to the negative speaker terminal or negative crossover input if you use a crossover ). I didn't use the rear speakers in my setup so am not sure what you mean but when you say the rear right had a black and pink wire you used for negative do you mean that it's a pink wire with a black stripe ? And the left rear has a pink wire with a red stripe ? If they aren't striped in the rear then I'm not sure what you should do since you want all the speakers should be in phase for maximum bass output and possibly a preferable sound stage.

This guy's post refers to the stripe and polarity as well: Installed new speakers in C2 - my experience | PriusChat

Tycho, thanks for all your help. Everything is hooked up and sounds great. I installed the Alpine KTP-445U Head Unit Power Pack 45W x 4 Car Amp, 2 Alpine SPR-60C 6-3/4" 2-way Component Speakers, and 2 rear Alpine SPR-60 6-3/4" 2-way Car Speakers. I called Crutchfield and Toyota, and they were able to help me in a little more detail. Here are the color coding details for the 2 white radio harnesses to my 2012 Toyota Prius C III. Hope this will help anyone else:

Yeah the wire colors threw me off a bit too at first. The important thing is to keep consistent. I'm pretty sure I got to a point where there were multiple striped wires so it was hard to even go by that.

What I ended up doing was looking at the connectors that were on the wire for the stock speakers and basing it on that. ie; whichever wire was closest to a particular side of the connector, I used that as + on every speaker.
