USB Music now *doesn't* show album covers

    It use to show album covers (i.e. Beatles) and now it shows a generic cover that says "Rock" or something to that effect. What gives. It just made that switch the other day. Any ideas?

    I've been getting those generic covers too..but I do still get some album covers as well. I don't know what's going on either...I know some of those album covers used to be there.

    It didn't happen by itself, so it must be something you did. Are you using exactly the same music source? Did you recopy any of your music to a new USB memory stick? I assume your music is in the form of mp3 files. Mp3 files can have tag data that can include album art. There are mp3 ID tag editors (software, some of it is free) that allow you to change the album art, restore it, etc. I used to think that the album art was embedded in the tag but I've noticed that I have some music on my computer where the album art is in the form of external jpegs. So, if I were to copy the music to a USB stick but not copy the album art jpegs as well, then you'd get generic album art when playing the music. I'm not an expert of the subject of mpe tags, so you might search the Internet for more info.

    I have noticed that if I connect via USB, I get album covers. If I connect via Bluetooth I get generic cover..

    The only time I notice a generic cover is when the mp3 doesn't have an album title.

    USB can pull the album art, Bluetooth can't so it uses an onboard album art database. If there's no match, you get a generic image.

    Some of my USB music has album covers, some does not. Based on some of my ancient sources, I'm surprised that many of those covers are present at all. I don't see them in my folders, and I didn't intentionally allow them to be fetched from the internet.

    I have the rezound verizon 4G LTE, pretty new phone. I do not get an album covers????? WHat setting do I need to make to get this feature?

    Do you know if the database was created by Toyota, or uses an internet connection to do a lookup (like IMDB)? I am only getting some album art over Bluetooth, but I did plug my phone into the USB once. I wonder if it downloaded some of the art while in USB mode.
