I have a 2006 with 211,544 miles on it. This past 4th of July I went to start the car and the digital display was blank. Everything worked fine, but there was no display. The next day it worked fine, the dealer could find nothing wrong. They checked the main battery and it was charging and discharging correctly. The 12v battery was also within normal ranges. It has happened twice this past weekend, when the dealer is not open. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on what to look for?

    Thanks in Advance

Do you mean the touchscreen display or the instrument panel (speedometer etc)? I'm having a problem with the touchscreen going blank. It started as intermittent, but now it's blank all the time.

The digital display referred to above is called the Combination meter. The touchscreen you mention is called the MFD (Multi-Function Display). Both are a relatively common source of flakiness, which are in various thread here. The usual remedy is to replace with a salvaged unit, as from autobeyours.com or others (Hint: fill in your location field). Hot weather is bad for them, and sun on the dash is particularly hard on any electronics. A reflector in the windscreen is a good idea to keep everything cooler.

I would suggest having the combination meter repaired, not replaced.
