Newbie, 06 Prius

    Picked up my new baby this past Saturday in New York. 06 with SKS, Back up camera, Bluetooth..etc. Purchased with 155,000 miles but drives like it's new. Paid $6,700 for the car and drove it back home to Wisconsin (1,030 miles in all) with ZERO issues. 80mph on the interstate for almost the entire trip and I avg'd 42.7 mpg over all.

    The ride was fairly comfortable, but I left the kids at home and that may have attributed to that LOL.

    All in all, I LOVE this car. My oldest boy, who lives with his mother during the week, is about 30 miles away from me with some pretty big hills between us. I was able to pull off 59.4 mpg for the trip to pick him up. Did I mention I love this car? I'm going from a big Dodge truck that drank fuel in gulps to this car that barely sips it. Why aren't all cars this efficient?!

    My only problem with the car thus far is not even with the car itself. My iPhone wont sync it's contacts list. I'm going to have to dig out my old android and see if I can get that to dump it's list instead.

    Congrats on your new ride!

    I'm trying to remember about the contact list... I think that maybe with an iPhone you have to transfer the contacts one at a time. I never used it in my '05 because I had the nav system, which included voice dial.

    Pay for all this gas to Look Macho at the expense of my family or Get a Prius and spend the money on vacation or entertainment for the kids.
