Earlier today my wife and I picked up 2 Prius v 5's to replace a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (for her) and a Chrysler 300C SRT8 (for him).

Both Prius v 5's are equipped identically:
    - Blue Ribbon Metallic exterior
    - Dark Gray interior
    - Advanced Technology Package
    - Preferred Accessory Package
    - Rear Bumper Applique

The transition from a combined 845 hp to a combined 268 hp should be interesting, but we're both looking forward to making much less frequent visits to our local gas station(s). :)

    Interesting...

I figure one of you might want a car w/a little more power like a '12 Camry Hybrid and for a little variety. '12 HyCam's mileage is outstanding for a 200 hp car while being faster than most/all NA family cars (Consumer Reports - Fuel economy vs. performance - note the mileage figures are from their tests, not the EPA estimates).

My 110 hp Prius replaced my 255 hp Nissan Maxima (loved the power). I had a 287 hp 350Z alongside my Prius until last year. :/

    Anyway, welcome!

Replaced our 280 hp Infiniti G35 with a Prius V 5. I have not missed the power of the G at all. The Prius handles surprisingly well too. That was a surprise. The thing I like most is how very clever the drive system is in the Prius. Like the engineers were saying, "if you're not using the gas motor to acutally move the car forward, why should it be on at all?" You will grow to love your Priie.

So, they're both the exact same exterior/interior color?

BTW, I can't help but pronounce SRT8 as "straight eight" every time I see it. I also say "turd" for Toyota's TRD. :p

@ fotomoto - Yes, both vehicles are the exact same configuration. Our initial plan was to get 1 in Blue Ribbon Metallic (for him) and 1 in Barcelona Red Metallic (for her), but due to availability issues we ended up compromising a bit. Actually, my wife and I both like Blue Ribbon Metallic best... She was going to get Barcelona Red Metallic just to have a different color than me.

OK, so how are ya'll going to tell 'em apart? I mean, I'm the sort of person who would switch them in the garage (or driveway) every now and then just to mess with the other spouse! :)

Laugh... My wife and I are both like that too. In fact, we both liked her Jeep (better than my Chrysler). So it was always a race to see who left the house first. ;)

As for our Prius vehicles, other than personalized license plates and number of car seats (her Prius has 2 and my Prius has 1), there aren't any differences.

We had a local couple who had "INUIT" and "INUIT2".

    You'll adapt. :)

I went from a 712rwhp turbocharged truck and low 11sec Trans Am to a lil Prius and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

My weekend car is a 2011 BMW M3 which has 414 HP. Every time I get into my Toyota Prius right after driving the M3 I notice a big difference. On a daily basis I do not notice a difference as you get use to the car you are driving. You will enjoy the Prius if you try to beat your best MPG, I personally love pulsing and gliding.

And "Wrecks" for Subaru WRX, possibly the worst name I've ever seen for a performance car.
