Installed the morimoto h11 hid kit on my prius, but would like to also change the additional lights above the normal h11 bulbs. Not the high beams, but the two additional lights that turn on for the low beam

would i need additional ballast for this? are there alternative halogen bulbs... that are just whiter? i have 4300k for my h11

You cant put HIDs there. You can put a wedge base t10 LED for a whiter color. Halogens wont get you the white youre looking for.

bought the above lights... not hapy with them.

they're not really flush and i worry if the bulp is just going to pop out

also not happy because all of my lights are different shades of white/blue...

the leds above go into the housing that has sort of a blue tint, so the white is a bit more blue.

The Morimoto h11 i got, 4300k, are a bit more yellow

and then the oem day time running lights are the whitest of the bunch

I hear ya. I have the iJDM Toy LEDs in the same spot and they are too blue even though they are supposed to be white. They do not match my 5000K HIDs at all. I'm too lazy to keep buying new bulbs to find one that works.

Did you have LED for your license plate as well? If you do then how is the color coming out? Does it match the color your OEM LED fog lights?

I went to iJDM toy and picked up parking lights n license plate lights. Parking lights are showing bluish and a bit longer than plate lights. Plate lights are pretty close to OEM LED fog lights so I decided to get plate LED light for my parking lights then when installed 5k HID light it came out pretty close matching the two. You need to go to rosmead where iJDM is located to see the different otherwise you will keep spending on these or you can call them.
