Hey folks - let's keep the side-chatter about the fate of the dog and various opinions on the breed out of this thread. Please keep to the topic of the damaged Prius c, it's repair, and hard-to-find parts.

The side conversations about the fate of the dog, the graphic descriptions, and the blatant attacks on opposing opinions have been removed to keep the thread on the topic of the Prius c damage and repair. I don't normally go to such lengths, but the non-PG language AND general offensiveness to many readers came through many times by multiple participants. The only apparent choice was to remove ALL references - not just offensive replies.

Please keep the thread on topic. We're all interested in the car's outcome. If you wish to discuss dogs, keep it civil and in the Fred's House of Pancakes forum.

I guess pg is in the eye of the beholder. I lost my interests to keep posting at this forum. Freedom is such a wonderful thing.

We're all interested in the original reason for the post. Just not the gory details or the side conversations regarding the dog's fate, type of breed, etc.

I would encourage those who disagree with my actions to review the Terms and Conditions of this site. Nowhere does it state that folks have the right to post anything they like without consequences. In fact, there's language that suggests controversial topics are not appropriate for this site.

Well, to continue this thread, we're looking at a $6,800 repair (so far) after striking the deer at 50mph. My girlfriend and car owner also says that she felt the car helped her brake and steer it safely off the road after the accident. Lots of technology in the Pc. It may be 4 weeks total before it's ready for the road again though. She misses it already. Peace.

I am in total agreement with the moderator's decision. This is a car forum, not an animal lover/hater forum.
