So I've been going back and forth on whether to leave my TSS rims stock or to have them Plasti Dipped. I decided to do the plasti dip (took the rims off) and I kind of like the look, but I'm not sold on it. My wife hates it. I think when I first got my Prius, I wanted it to be the "all black" type, but now I'm not sure about leaving it that way. What are your thoughts? Do you like it stock or with the plasti dip? Sorry for posting the links, for some reason when I tried to insert images, it kept showing the little box that didnt recognize the picture, so I posted links instead. Thanks for the comments.

Yea, I think I've seen those before. I guess I'd have to actually see them on my car (or one that looks like mine) to be able to decide. I also liked the wheels on Xaran's prius. He has Drag DR34's.

Be aware that there is UV resistant Plasti-Dip available. If you don't get the UV resistant version the black will turn grey sooner.

If youre not sold on it and your wife hates it, I think you already have your answer.

Everybody has their own tastes and I'm sure you will find people on either side loving their wheels. Kind of like black tennis shoes which I don't care for either.

Thats true. Im glad I at least tried it. I will eventually take it off, but I think I will leave it on for a while longer (have to feel like I didnt spend $20 for nothing)

    I like it...

If you want something different, peel off only the short spoke on the wheel and make it silver and the rest will be black...experiment, its only $20

My vote is without. I like contrast to balance things out, which is why I chose BP instead of Midnight Grey since I knew the rims under the caps where black and I would most likely be keeping the stock rims.

A little experimenting though would be good to find that sweet spot that suits your tastes.
