Anyone ever had this problem or know what to check? I put in the key, hit the brake, and push on the power button I only get a beep and the CEL light flashes on and off for just a half a sec and then thats it. nothing. The power light never turns green, only amber.

Nothing else will turn on, light up or anything.

Again the ACC battery is brand new and not the problem. Do i need to reset something?

What kind of new battery? There are reports of "new" batteries being delivered with no charge. First step would be to check the voltage and be sure.

That sounds like a dead or very low new battery which is pretty common. Turn on the headlights and see how bright they are.
If the lights are bright unplug the 2 connectors that are plugged into the module atop the pos terminal.
Plug them back in. That will reboot the car.

Ok, battery is at 13.3vlts. Also tested with a spare yellow top optima i had around and the symptoms are the same.
I can put the key in, and hit the power button. The power button has a green light but nothing else comes on. No clock, no dash, no screen.

As soon as i hit the brakes like normal, it makes a quick hum noise, the P button flashes green lights, and the CEL flashes and then then thats it. The power light then just flashes Orange and car is beeping.

Ok battery volts is not good for a new battery but should make the car ready. Do the side lights work on the car and do the stop lamps come on when you push the brake pedal.

If you can get an assistant to help, use a voltmeter to monitor the voltage on the 12V jump start terminal under the hood. Try starting and see what sort of swing in the voltage you see. If you can get an OBDII reader to check things, so much the better, but it sounds like the ECU is not booting up, so that may not work. I would want to be certain that stable 12V is making it to the electronics up front before pursuing the next step.

    Yep, and Yep

Car start beeping fast as soon as you open the door like the key is in the ignition or the lights are on, or the car is in reverse.

Another thing to check is the negative battery connection to the body ground connection. Make sure this connection is good and tight on both ends.

12.64 volt at the jump terminal. Ground is clean, its not the acc battery. Tested against 3 other batteries I have and all give the same results. Even with a low or bad ACC battery the dash would at least come up. I have nothing. It is acting like it wants to come on, but cant.

I cant get my OBDII scanner to read because I cant get anything to power up. Is there a relay to check, a fuse somewhere I am not aware of?

Does it go into ACC mode, i.e. Push start but no foot on brake?

Kind of. If I put the key in, and just hit the power button, the Power Button light turns green, but I have nothing else. No screen and no dash. Nothing. Normally all that would light up.

Any chance you got too close to the HV battery and opened the disconnect switch? This is kind of far out there but would give you these symptoms.

Disconnect the negative side of the 12V battery a few minutes to give all ECUs a chance to power down and reset. Then reconnect. See if you can make the Prius READY.

If not, see if you can turn on the headlights. How bright are they?

We're grasping at straws here, obviously. Check the fusible links under the clear plastic cover, under the jump start terminal. They should all look nice and shiny. Of interest is the 60A P/I.

I left everything unplugged for 10+ mins and same results. Head lights are bright, low and hi beams.

Use an ohmmeter to check all fuses in the two boxes: one near the inverter and the other under the dashboard on the driver's side.

Is it possible that I set off the Immobilizer?
