Hello! I've Prius 2008. It's strange problem. The odometre stoped on 1772 miles, but Trip A and Trip B it's in order. What could be, I can't image. Have any body an idea?

    Re: odometre problem

The combination meter ECU probably has failed (combination meter includes the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, shift indicator, and warning lights.)

Thanks, :) I think the faster way to understand if it's true, just to change temporarly this Combination Meter ECU with other Prius. I'll be very appriciable if you help me to understand where is location of this ECU.

The ECU is located on the combination meter, which you can see as you look at the speedometer. If you need repair manual info, I suggest you consult the Toyota Europe website that has this available on a subscription basis.

Since the car is 2008 I wonder if this is still under warranty?

And failed at only 1772 miles?

The odometer is OK now. It's was corrected the soft in the Combination Meter. As I understood, the problem was inserted during reinstallation the soft to Combination Meter from American version to European version.
Now I'd like to return the American version. In European Version not exist the Tire pressure control.

I have the same issue. The service wants to replace the unit, what is over 900 USD here in Hungary.
Everything works perfectly, only the odometer stopped counting. Maybe someone tried to manipulate the odometer?

The service figured out the current odometer status, cause they wrote 75287 into the service instead 62513 (what the odometer shows).

So it was u who reinstalled the software in the combination meter or the serivce?

My car is european version so basically not needed to install other combination meter soft..
