I just picked up a 2012 four with deluxe solar moonroof for 29,900. Pretty happy with the deal. Ended up being sold as a used car with 250 miles on it, so it also qualified for the certified warranty in addition to the standard (which made it easier to turn down the extended warranty hard sell)

    Greater Philadelphia area.

Wow MaxMan617! Which dealer gave you that great deal? Did you have to talk them down or did you get an internet quote?

I am also looking to buy a Prius III. Can you share which dealer sold for $24,200? Thank you!

$29,468 for a Prius III. Blizzard Pearl, Bisque Leather, solar roof pkg. The price includes all taxes, fees and everything. I didn't get the best deal but I calculated that they didn't make that much money on me because there was a paper on the desk that seemed to be for internal use and it said Dealer price was $23,799.00. So if I do the math correctly, $23,799.00 + $1,495 (leather) + $1,500 (solar roof) + $220 (color) + $225 (mats) + $282 (officiating fees) + 8.75% tax = $29,929. Obviously they make money off of the add-ons, the sheet also showed MSRP for the options was $1,945 and that the dealer price was $1,670, a difference of $275. Final difference seems to be $461 cheaper than the dealer's price. I don't know if this is invoice because they bought this car from a sister dealership.

Edit: $23,799.00 is the invoice price for the Prius III.

Prius Plug In. Mats + rear bumper applique.
Purchased Septmeber 26th, took delivery 28th.
    Details.
Bought from DCH Toyota City from Mamorenck NY (close to NYC)
I did email/call attack to local dealers for best price + few dealers up to 250 miles away.
$31000 - 2000 cashback for financing thru TFS.
$75 dealer fee, rest are TTL.
There was better deal from a distance dealer, but factoring in 8 hour round trip it would have costed me more to go there.
Given how my salesman went the distance to keep me happy I thought I do share it.
With October's 3500 incentive they should have better deal, wish I waited few days but who knows what the future holds.

I just bought a 2012 blizzard white prius 4 from a dealership that was a program car, had 7100 miles on it. Priced at $26,777 and I talked them down to $24,500 plus $4,500 trade in on my old car which was worth maybe $2,500.

Just bought a Prius 3 Blizzard in SoCal for 24,127 with an OTD of 26,600 (tax rate here is 8.75%). I did not have a trade and did not have any dealer options to add on.

I just purchased a 2012 Prius II for my sister from World Toyota in Atlanta for $23180 OTD (tax, title, reg included). This dealership does not charge a doc fee (which they told me was pure profit, a BS fee). They price their vehicles by how long they've been on the lot. The one we chose had been sitting there the longest (2 months), so it was around c.21750 before tax, title, reg. We added a rear bumper guard for $83.

I negotiated the deal through their internet sales department in about 20 minutes, was assigned a number and given a guaranteed drive-off price. The sales manager called later and gave me his cell phone in case anything came up (I was driving in from North Carolina) I walked in the door with my number, was assigned a sales rep who brought me a cup of coffee, and got right down to business. I brought my own financing from PenFed and was out the door in about an hour - they did not waste time doing paperwork, didn't push extended warranties, just got my sister in her new car, explained their service plan (2 years free oil changes), and got us on her way. Overall, I was very happy and recommend this dealership. I live in North Carolina, but will probably fly to Atlanta to pick up my next Prius there.

$22,488 for Prius II with mats in So Cal. Came out to $24796.05 after taxes and license fees.

Bought from Gil Jr at Puente Hills Toyota. Also eligible for the $1000 gas card giveaway from Toyota and HSN so great value all around!

Just bought a 2012 Prius II in Winter Grey for $21,488 (would have been $500 less if I were in the military). OTD price came out to be $23,497 (included taxes and fees). Car was bought from DCH Toyota in Torrance, CA.

I'm very happy about this deal since every other deal I came across was at least $500-$2000 more than this price.

Oops! Also meant to share that I purchased from Ken Koshiro at Hamer Toyota in Mission Hills, CA. Ken was an amazing sales person. Very professional and made the purchasing experience really easy. I highly recommend him if you are in the market for a Toyota.

Thanks! The price was in an L.A. Times ad the morning of. I can't believe it worked because usually those deals are either 1) never what they seem or 2) extremely difficult to get.
