Prius Peeve

    My two peeves include the problem with first tune on iPhone starting immediately (like others have stated) and two concerns having to slam the back hatch instead of just gently closing and system then firmly closing, which have on 4Runner. Really, what is added cost of adding an auto closing mechanism for tailgate? Actually, what would it cost Toyota to add an auto open and close mechanism to tailgate, suspect a lot of people with kids and lots of groceries would like that feature.

    All Toyota and Lexus models are exactly the same. That is the way it is, it is standard.

    The mirror switch being on the dash and not the arm-rest is also pretty standard for Japanese vehicles. You don't adjust these often, so it is out of the way. In the higher end models with multiple settings, the driver settings button is on the arm-rest but the controls are again on the dash.

    You must have come from a domestic car...
