Chronological? Who reported first (rather than date of occurence).

That is not fair, everyone of those record holders are under 37mph, what about those with lead foots...

Not entirely true, there are 3 tanks that are over 30 mph (F8L's is the highest at 37 mph).

The leadfoots drive too fast to get on the list. Remember what I said about speed and mpg. :p

An average of a consecutive 53 mph? It sounds like +90% of that 213 miles/trip was on the superhighway(i.e. the the trip meter was reset to zero immediately before starting on a +200 mile superhighway run, which would eliminate the initial warm up MPG penalty and/or remove the MPH penalty of acceleration from 0 MPH to superhighway speeds). To register 62.4 mpg on the MFD (about 60 mpg calculated) - even on a warm, dry day on a good smooth road with over inflated tires I know I need to keep my 2010 Prius under 65 mph for a flat elevation. The exception would be a +100 mile one way trip where the Prius had a downhill advantage( for example, a +200 feet elevation drop per 10 miles) with no traffic - in that case better MPGs can be achieve as long as the Prius going under 57 mph for over about 4 hours it would take to achieve 213 miles. However, driving nonstop for over 4 hours becomes problematic for old men with bladder problems... :p:rolleyes::cautious::p:cry::whistle::barefoot:

Walter solution to your problem is portable toilets, like adult diapers to help you get through 4+ hours of driving. :ROFLMAO:

I'm currently beating my previous record tank mpgs with 170 miles so far. 72.4 vs 72.3. I wish I had to pick up a load of people with their luggage at the airport so I could ruin this tank and quite obsessing. At this rate, I'll visit the quickie mart twice every 3 months. Ahhh.....

yes half nice person attempt at grill blocking, just took the pipe insulation, jammed it in the lower part and zip tied it to hold it.

stock Goodyear Assurance fuel max tires. on the oil change the dealer even kept my PSI recommendations after I told the advisor 50 front, 48 rear, he looked at me strange and asked if I was sure I told him I will sign a waiver if he wants.

30-40 degrees is TOUGH to squeeze 70+ mpg runs, it is a ton of work and everything must basically be perfect. there are more mid to high 60 runs than mid 70s at this point. I don't think I will have another 70+ tank till next spring.

I'm impressed, Matt. That is damn good for such low temps. You are experiencing nearly double the rolling resistance (tires) than you would at 100F!
