Toyo Proxes for sale

    I'm sorry if this is not where I post this but I couldn't find a for sale section. Well anyways I'm sellin the stock Toyo tires that came on my 2012 five for $350 for the set and I'm willing to negotiate a lower price. I'm in the San Francisco area and can meet up or ou can pick up if you want. They only have 1,756 miles on them so they are pretty much brand new. I just got a set of the Cooper RS3-A tires from America's Tire and love them. So reply here or inbox me if interested. As you may know these tires are $215 each new so I think what I'm asking is fair for those looking to replace their tires. Thanks and again sorry if this is not in the right place.

    After agreeing to sell the tires to me, with pickup the weekend after Thanksgiving, Hausedp415 sold the tires to F8l instead. I'm disappointed that both Priuschat members failed to abide by the email agreement that Hausedp415 and I had already reached. The deal didn't "fall through." Instead, one PriusChat member reneged on his agreement and another encouraged that action with full knowledge of the previous agreement. Ya' I'm a little angry, but mostly I'm disappointed by the absence of integrity demonstrated by two fellow PriusChat members.

    Update: while I was placing this post on Priuschat, F8l was sending me an email, offering to sell me the tires at the original price. Upon reviewing the email thread regarding the sale of the tires, it was obvious to him that an agreement had been reached to sell the tires to me before they were offered to him. This offer by F8l, that I have accepted, restores my faith in the integrity of this forum and in F8l.

    When I read through the email threads, I figured that Justin was buying the tires to "hold" for Mad-dog One, and to help Hausedp415 get the tires out of his car. Justin was trying to

    A) Secure that the tires didn't get sold to someone else (like on craigslist)

    B) Hold onto the tires for Mad-dog One

    C) If Mad-dog One couldn't get the tires, then Justin would have them rather than a third person who might be the "Johnny on the spot".

    Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Justin offered to meet you part way (say.... in San Luis Obispo) to give you the tires while taking his girlfrend out for a weekend down there. It would be his style.

    David has it right except the SLO part. I'm not one to burn another member, especially one who I respect. I just wanted to make sure one of us got the tires before they went to some random person.

    SLO is a bit too far for me. :p

    Thanks for understanding everyone. I just wanted them out of the Back seat of my Prius and I'm glad it went to a Prius chat member and not a random person on Craigslist. Thanks F8L
