Thanks to everyone for their opinions. I agree with the overall consensus based on my test drive. The Ct felt more like an under powered sports coupe , more conventional. Front seating was more like the sports seats in my previous Infinitis and yes the stock handling was better than my Prius.

Overall I liked it and even though it is rated as less MPG it is a Hybrid that I will consider in the next year or two when its time to trade in my Prius.

Thanks again for the feed back

    Xaran,

You should also consider how often you change automobiles and where your "life" will be during that timeframe. In other words, if you were to get married and have kids, a Prius would be a better choice for carseats and child gear relative to a CT200H. If you expect that you will be unmarried during that duration, the extra legroom and storage in the rear may not be as importan an issue.

That is all very good advice.

I am married but we have 6 cars/vans and 2 motorcycles between the 4 drivers in the house. I use my car for a 5 -8 time a week 130 mile R/T commute alone so the fuel saving in the Prius have been great. When the weather is good I ride one of my Harleys and when we go out as a family unfortunately we use my wifes Hummer H 2 (that she loves and will not get rid of) or if its a large group I use a E350 15 passanger van I have for my dog hobby, both sons have there own cars. So the decision on my car is 90% about what suits me as Im in it alone most of the time

Thanks for updating! You'll get very good hwy mileage with the CT200H. The "gallonage" (gallons used per year) won't be much worse than if you were driving the Prius. Heck, it might beat the Harley's in MPGs.

We have a 2011 Prius 3 and want up upgrade to a 2013 Prius 4 with the solar package and Nav. Just test drove the Lexus CT. I've read many of the forums and comparisons. I agree with most of them. Still can't make up my mind.
