I saw a Silver PIP in the Ralphs store parking this afternoon, my second PIP sighting this week. I have also been seeing lots of Volts. Twice this week I have parked my PIP next to a Volt, and not at a charging station either

I spotted one and it's in my garage. Have had it( clearwater blue)for a week and since I do only short 3-5 mle trips, I have used NO gas. I charge it after every trip. A little while ago, someone on this site told me that it would be perfect for my driving pattern and so it is.
One question, it came with the Bridgestone Ecopia tires. Any ideas? I replaced the OEM(previous Priuses) with the Michelin HydraEdges.

    Thanks

Spotted a total of 6 today on the 405 and in Westwood. Followed a silver one on the 405 from Carson up towards Culver City and multiples around town. This is not including the 4 on the lot at Toyota Santa Monica when I visited my friend for lunch.

I spotted a blizzard pearl on Sunset last week with an exhaust system, and 17" racing rims. Gave him a thumbs up for PiP and he zipped off in power mode.

There is also another one I see at the yoga studio parking lot sometimes.

I saw my first PiP - a white one parked in the Coventry Mall in Pottstown PA today (Saturday, 11/24). First one I've seen "in the wild" other than mine, which arrived last April! Woo hoo! Guess I'm no longer alone!

Saw 2 gray metallic PiP in a single week.
One of the sighting, we both kind of slowed down to check each other out.

Every once in a whole, I see a blue PIP when I'm on my way to work.

At work 3 other PIPs park in the same garage. We all share a charging station with 2 company owned Leafs (first come first served/plugged).

I've seen a Clearwater Blue PiP a couple of times in the area now, and I think that there might be one more besides mine as well. I'm looking forward to running into the other owners at a charging station someday!

Finally saw another Plug-in Prius on the road after all these years. Yeah it's hard to recognize them, but around here it's not that hard since they usually have green plates.

Admittedly in 2012-2014 I wasn't actively looking for them either, but I have been since early 2015 when i bought mine. Ironically though, this one I recognized from the side badge that says Plug-in Hybrid.

I had seen one dealer Plug-in Prius driving around in previous years with blue vanity plates from the dealer and dealer logos plastered all over it, but I don't count that one because that's the one I ended up buying. ;)

I'm over 2.5 years in and still have yet to see one other than my own.

You mean you have not seen mine on I94 going past Eau Claire, Wi.? I can see I94 from my house and only about .4 miles from coffee at Hardee's.:)

I haven't been to Eau Claire for a long time. (My brother and a friend went to college there.)

I did go up to Bayfield a few years ago. The sightings there were quite a delight. I had no idea there would be so many. In fact, I even saw 3 at once, not including mine.

There are a bunch at my work, but then again, we have all sorts of plug-in vehicles at my work since we have a ton of charging stations now.

Someone in a group near me jokes that the parking lot (or rather charging areas) looks like a Nissan dealership since the Leaf is the most popular plug-in at my work. But, we've got some Tesla Model S, lots of Volts and a surprisingly quickly growing set of VW e-Golfs and to a lesser degree (I think) BMW i3. The Ford Focus Electric and Chevy Spark EV haven't really caught on at my work.

At my workplace parking lot there are no charging stations but a few 120 V plugs that people are free to use. So, I charge up my PiP there. There are no other PiPs, although there are a couple of regular Priuses. No all-electric cars except one Tesla I've seen occasionally. The Tesla owner never bothers charging up there though.

An alternate parking lot (less convenient) has an EVSE, but I believe it's just for two spots. I think there is a Leaf and a Volt or something that charge up there, but otherwise not too many EVs or PHEVs, and no other PiPs in that parking lot either AFAIK.

So, while we EV and PHEV owners with green plates have some limited HOV lane usage allowance here, at least for the time being, up here in Toronto these cars just don't seem as common as they seem to be in places like San Francisco.

BTW, I do have two of the portable chargers now. One is the OEM Toyota one which I carry in the car, and one is a Leaf one I bought off eBay and installed semipermanently by the house so I don't have to bring the OEM one in and out of the rain and snow. No real need for a 240 V EVSE for the PiP, and I didn't qualify for the EVSE installation rebate since I bought my PiP used.
