I watched a doomsday documentary on the History Channel not long ago and interestingly, many different future seers put the end of the world between 2010 and 2020. So I'm guessing Barak's not really going to get a second term.
Hmmmm... Lets see.. that will be my birthday..... I will be celebrating my 49th year on this earth, and hopefully, I will be enjoying a vacation somewhere with Wayne where it is warm and quiet, as the kids should be out of the house and in college!! Teresa
I will have just turned 70. The kids will probably be picking out my nursing home & checking my will. (Who gets the Prius?)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hyo silver @ Apr 2 2007, 09:08 PM) </div> We had a huge party out in the woods on May 10th 1982, which was a big planetary alignment with the moon, and (according to rumor) the actual start of the Age of Aquarius. When I looked up to see this alignment with the planets and the moon, my vision was blurred from drinking too much tequila and I couldn't see anything. I think I'll lay of the tequila at the 2012.12.21 party (I'll be 59, my liver probably won't be up for it)
Based on only two winters here, December seems to be the cold month in Spokane. (I'm more used to North Dakota, where January and February are the coldest months.) So I'll hope to be some place warm on that day. Too early to make definite plans. Mexico? Tahiti? Fiji? Kenya? (Always open to suggestions. Active outdoor activities are a must.)

Celebrating the Winter Solstice on telemark skis above 3,000 meters in the High Sierra. Admiring the stars. Taking in the loud silence. Being thankful to be alive and a part of everything.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(hyo silver @ Apr 3 2007, 12:08 AM) </div> What time of the day is this happening? I only ask because I was scheduled to be having lunch with President Monica Lewinski at 11:30. The plan is Hillary in 08, Monica in 12, right?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(daronspicher @ Apr 4 2007, 01:58 PM) </div> Is Bill gonna return the favor when Monica is in the office? I probably be watching evening news and waiting for Tonight Show w/ Conan O'Brien.

That won't work for me, my daughter works in a Nursing Home, so works Christmas eve and Christmas. She will be in MS from the 18 to 23, so I will already have given Christmas presents. Welcome back. I've been away a time myself, but not for nearly as long as you have. This thread feels like a time capsule. I wonder what all the posters are up to now, and whether they're following through on their earlier plans.
sounds like the guy prognosticating hillary and monica might have been the inventor of the mayan calander.
I had a reminder set on my Outlook calendar that popped up. I was amazed that more than 5 years had passed. I don't even have my Prius anymore :-( Good to see you again! After looking at the names on the original thread, I figured only TonyP was around.
