Traded my Tacoma (supercharged) in for a Prius c. Don't think I could have gone to a more opposite of a vehicle, lol. Got tired of the 15 MPG that the Tacoma was getting with premium gas.

I got the Prius c yesterday and so far I enjoy the car. Its fun to throw into corners and as little power that it has (vs 330 HP Tacoma) it feels faster than it really is. So far on the few trips that I have gone, I average around 51 MPG @ 30 F (about 30/70 city highway) which seems really good for winter time.

I figured I still have my HD V-Rod Muscle and Trans Am to have some REAL fun with as my Prius c is my daily driver during the winter time.

I have an 01 prius. I sold my mercury mystique v6 for the 01 prius. 46mpg versus 23mpg. Prius (roughly $23-$26 every wk and a half to 2 wks versus $ 39-$52 every wk) im loving it. rides nicer, quieter. definitely not as much power but even with the payment of $12o/mo plus gas, im still saving money. And I got money sitting aside in case of a breakdown.

I've never used snow tires for the winter, but might get some for the stock rims when those tires are worn out. Haven't had "real" snow yet so not sure how good the stock tires will do, but if this winter is like the last two I won't have to worry about getting stuck then.

That will be nice to save all that money just in gas alone, which I will use to put towards my Trans Am. Plus I saved almost $2,ooo of MSRP on the Prius C Four with a very low interest rate and its the exact model color and options that I wanted.

LOL, West Olive isn't really a town that you "see" its kind of you just drive through it without ever knowing you did. If you ever been to Holland or Grand Haven you've more than likely been through it.:)

    Here's some pics.

Your going to enjoy it. you will be used to putting in like 20+ gallons of fuel at 1/4 tank and sitting there waiting for it to fill up. and this at that level, at least on mine, would take about 7-7.5 gallons. takes a minute or 2 to fill up. then you look at the numbers on the pump expecting to see 50+ dollars and only see about 28 bucks. I've only had mine for 4 months, it still catches me off guard sometimes

your buddies may laugh at you for having a prius. oh well. you can blow the horn and wave at em when you pass them at the pump. ha ha. some of my co workers at work told me "why would you get a prius". i say well, better fuel mileage. they say but its a prius. i say what do you get for gas mileage. usually i get an answer among the lines of "i get 32 with my car" as they smile the whole time and tell me, what do you get? I smile back and say "I get 46". Usually at that point. they say nothing or I pick their mouths up off the floor. lol

Speaking of snow. We just had a 4 inch snowfall here in pa about 4 weeks ago. My prius, no winter tires. unplowed roads at my house, piece of cake for my prius. I was impressed.

That's good to know about the snow, so far we've only gotten 1 in and that's being generous. So far nobody really knows about the Prius but when they do I know they will laugh but I know that I'm getting so much better gas mileage than they are. My one buddy wants a Prius but I think the wife does want one.
