    got hit and run today ><

    and the sad thing is I took my dash cam off to make some modifications, so I wasn't able to catch the bastard ><

    sad Christmas :( , bright side, I think the damage is not too bad , and I was able to get all the stuff I wanted for Boxing Day :)

    scratched my precious DRL leds too ><

    yeah man, soo bummed out >< you have no idea, when i have my dash cam on, no accidents, and when I take it off to make some adjustments to it, I get hit ><

    Dam E, that blows! Befor I got done reading ur post I thought at least u have ur dash cam.......:(

    Hopefully u can buff it out......just be careful cause F8L is right.....BP is a thin paint.

    Speaking of paint damage. Have you guys tried the touch up paint "aid" some dealers are selling? You apply it over the touch up paint then use a scraper to remove excess touch up paint so the only paint that remains is in the scratch/chip. I have some but have never gotten around to using it. It sure would beat the heck out of wet sanding if it works. I assume this is some kind I'd paint thinner/softener.

    no front.JPG front inside.JPG new front.JPG I went over a raised construction plate a week ago, and lower front air dam( 5 axis) got caught on it. It pulled down and ripped the front bumper in half. Since I had removed the front many times to install and fix lights I decided to try and fix it myself. Got the front bumper and left wheel well from Toyota and worked on it over the 4 day Xmas weekend. Finished in 3

    Meguires is good stuff.

    Ive never had to buff out scuffs on paint before but I would try using a clay bar to get the scuff off of the clear coat & then follow it up with a wax n polish.

    Try a cleaner wax like Meguiar's. if that doesn't work you can try Meguiar's Ultimate Compound but you will need to go back over it with a finer polish to remove hazing. That should get rid of the majority of the blemish.
